I just noticed all the Triplestack avatars. I missed out.
Mine was a 2000 Buell Blast. It's the only bike I've ever been able to sit on flat-footed. I put a Vance&Hines slip-on exhaust on it. It spit flames and was the loudest thing in the neighborhood. I had to pull the bike out to the street to start it. Those were the good old days.

Ditto. Mine was a '93. It ran so shitty that it was more like a 400. Of course I didn't know any better so I thought I was hauling ass. The fuel petcock (yea I said it) was reversed, so "on" was "reserve" and vice versa. The previous owner conveniently forgot to tell me so I was constantly puttering to a stop on the side of the road and could never figure out why. It wasn't until I rode a nicer, properly maintained Fizzer that i realized what a POS I had. I promptly sold mine and bought my beloved SV650. :)

Yup, that's exactly what happened to me on my GS500. I ended up pushing my bike home the last 1/4 mile since I couldn't get it to run. The reversed lines should have been a sign of problems to come. Eventually the exhaust fell off while I was riding.
