Its always a bummer to be all stoked for your trackday.. Take a day off work.. Reserve a hotel room, and then BOOM.. Rug pulled out from under you. It sucks.. But discounts on tracktime is always a good thing ;)

BTW: As much as I personally disliked the way those guys operated, and didn't want to do any biz with them.. Neither myself, nor the company I co-own (TrackDaz) had anything to do with WSIR pulling the plug on them. Its pretty funny what a bunch of angry people with an axe to grind will come up with ;) There's another forum where a dude basically says All of the Orgs bullied the Track into making that decision, pretty comical to think we've got that much say.

But they are stalkers. Like one time when I had to bail on the TrackDaz Academy, Dustin was really decent about it and would check in with me from time to time, reminding me I had still had a credit. And then TI2TT kept reminding me of when I had a credit I had with them.

Stalkers!!

Unfortunately not well received. When I posted on their forum to contact Dustin to make up for their cancelled track day, the thread was deleted. I posted on their May 3rd SoW thread prior and we'll see if those affected by it will actually make up for it

Bummer.. Oh well, just because their forum wont allow it, that doesn't stop us from offering that service to the community.

See, that's what I'm talking about. If you truly cared for your riders why not refer them to another supporting track org.

Maybe even suck your pride and contact the other org and tell them the situation & say, "Hey, can you take care of our customers for the time being until we get this resolved?"

They got a lot of pride and sadly it's trickling down to their staff (not all).

Sorry, I had a run in with one of them on another forum - all I gotta say is stupid IS contagious. Amazing.

Betcha, one of them is gonna read this and say, "Oh hey...why don't we do this: blah, blah blah and hit up (that one org I don't care for)...and we'll sound like we're taking care of our customers?"

You see. We need to have a sit-down. BaddaBing..BaddaBoom.. and everything is good.
I personally don't care what's going on over there, who said what, what their staff says, what they say... The bottom line is there are now a bunch of customers who lost out on their trackday.

We're just trying to lessen the blow by offering them discounts. Several riders already have signed up using these discounts.

Bummer.. Oh well, just because their forum wont allow it, that doesn't stop us from offering that service to the community.

The mod that deleted my post basically said that you (Dustin) should be posting it and not me. I really don't get it...I was just passing the word along. The mod over there said that what Dustin is doing now is "highly unethical"...again...I don't see how it's unethical. From my point of view and others...Dustin is doing them a service. I find it ironic that their mission statement claims to get riders off the street yet me not allowing to post this opportunity Dustin is presenting is somehow wrong in their eyes

EXACTLY!!! I have the feeling that they want to retain their customers. I don't see how they can provide the demand for trackdays for when they alone themselves are without any at the moment

You see. We need to have a sit-down. BaddaBing..BaddaBoom.. and everything is good.

I'm at the point where they have ridiculed me enough instead of getting straight answers to care now. My post on their May 3rd Trackday is there and hopefully it doesn't get deleted--so if the person really wants it, the information to contact Dustin is there. If they want to suck on TT dry teet, so be it. I'll admit that prior to the whole Rider ID debacle I was totally on board with them and loved what they were about. After the whole Rider's ID thing and what transpired, my point of view completely changed. Now Im at the point where I don't care and feel that you should not force riders off the streets and into the track, but rather...have riders discover for themselves if they are ready.

What's worst is it looks like their mentality is contagious and some new track riders have drank their kool-aid and will be forever loyal to them. So at this point, let them ride Streets of Willow on their couch.
