I was reading RRW this morning and the guy who ran down that group of bikes in Phoenix last month was under the influence of methamphetamine.

Here's a link to the article.

I say run him down with a dump truck and be done with it. Sell payperview of it and put the proceeds towards something good.

Never thought I'd agree with something like that, but... fuck yeah!

I wonder, was it like crystal meth, and he was high, or some kind of speed, that I've heard truck drivers take to stay awake longer to drive more?

Actually, that is correct. Truck drivers are under more pressure to make delivery schedules that they take meth to stay up longer. It's sad that you'd have to turn to drugs to help your job.

Tragic for all.

Do you mean "capital" punishment, by chance?

If you're an advocate of spanking versus death, I'm humbly apologize for my correction. :sorry

Legal drive time is 11 hours of driving with 10 hours of break thereafter. The NEW rules require that after 14 hours from your begin time in a given day you have 10 hours break no matter how many miles you’ve driven. Up to 70 hours in an 8 day period. With NO overtime required to be paid after 40 hours. After 34 hours off duty they may RESET their 70 hours to regain a full 70

http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truck-driver-facts/ hours for the new week.

I would say alot do not follow this, though.
