I'm so embarrassed. I think I was one of only two riders that went down at the track day all day. It was such a stupid mistake. I was having so much fun and now I feel like an idiot. I grabbed too much front break as I started to lean in for a turn. Got a nice broken collar bone now. Crap!

As long as you learn from your mistake, then make the best out of it. Hope you recover fast and get back out there.:D

How's the bike?

Mostly cosmetic. Bent the left foot peg and scratched up the plastic.

having broke the same collarbone twice (in 7 months) - that's a good one! Dude, it'll heal but it feels weird like you have a new hinge in your should until it "sticks"

I feel your pain, man. I did the exact same thing two weeks ago at Portimao in the wet. Word to the wise: trailbraking in the wet without rain tires is a baaad idea.

Bummer about your collarbone, but hey, it happens. Heal up and get back out there.

LS! Well, if you had to crash just once in your life, what better place to do it at? Take care of that collarbone (ouch)!

well at least it wasn't on the street I've had the privledge of both and I'd rather eat it at the track at a buck over 30 on the street. good luck with the healing and dont be afraid to get back out there took me awhile!

sorry to hear about your wreck man. Just focus on getting healed up and then get back on the horse. We can only learn from our mistakes so you're doing fine. Heal up, bruddah.
