Im pretty sure it does. I will doublecheck and post back up. Lemme ask - is this WITH the 07 rotors too?

The 08 Rotors are still 310mm, so caliper spacing should be fine, although the 08 rotors were a tad thinner than 07, so reset the pads if your using the 08 calipers too (i.e. bleed the brakes)
Still verifying overall wheel fit....please continue to hold until the next available armchair mechanic can assist you

Are you looking to buy wheels?
I have some 06' GSX-R 600 wheels, which are the same as the 07' 750 wheels.

dave i need a front + rotors. i found a guy on WERA that'll sell it for $250 shipped.

Doesn't look like they will. Looking at aftermarket wheel fitments, the 06-7 wheels have a different part number from 08-09s. What the difference is I do not know.

I have an extra set sitting at home that I've never used.
If he falls through, I'll sell you mine. Front w/ rotors also.

So you REALLY need an 08 front? I know a ton of Suzukis Kooks. That $250 price for a front w/ rotors is a de(s)cent deal

sure if you can find an 08 wheel w/ rotors it'd help alot.
picked up a 00 SV and am doing the front end.

NICE! (duh, i member you mentioning that.)
i made my own steering stem nut socket fwiw it works awesome when you need to borrow it lemme know. this way you can actually use a torque wrench on it and not have to rely on Suzuki's "pull on handlebar and see how much force it takes" method.
come to think of it, lemme know what other parts you may need as i have some leftovers sittin in my garage.

yeah i've got the twf head bearing kit, lower 3x, forks, calipers, axle and MC. I'm trying to decide whether I want to keep the gauge cluster or go wtih a veypor unit.
Thinking about adding a ZX-6 or ZX-10 shock and an F3 rear wheel--though the wheel might not be necessary since i'm not planning on engine work.

ohhh nice (no popped bearings, ask me how i know), nice, good choice on forks, nice, nice, and sweet. radial MC or regular? R6 (02/03?) had radial that would work.
yeah go zx10 (got mine for $30 shipped) iirc 04-05 works the best, but that may be 2nd gens, yours is 1st gen and maybe different. unless your chica's super light (100ish) the zx6r is usually too light for most folks. lots of complaints on GSXR stuff too (either too soft, too hard). but literally most any shock will fit the SV's.
go wiht the f3 wheel, wont matter about engine work, its the size/weight difference that get people jazzed up. lighter and wider for some reason lol.
seriously though, good shoices on all, especially the forks. there will be a GIGANTIC difference in handling.

yeah it would be nice to fit regular rubber (aka take-offs) on the rear of the bike.
the zx-6 and zx10 shocks are perfect for the 1st gen too. I'd get an elka or somethign, but i'm trying to keep the costs down.

ok so the guy selling the wheel tells me the rotors and the forks are different on the 08's, so i definitely need an 08 wheel.
though dave maybe i can do a test fitting to see if shimming will work?

I have no problem w/ that.

imo you may have a better chance of getting takeoffs for the f3 wheel than the stocker. but, im no pro just my :2cents
yeah tige wnated me to get an elka for the 1ks, way to mucho dinero for this college student lol

breaking news!
actually, digging around on SVrider, i've found that the 08 and 07 wheels are dimensionally the same, but have a different rotor bolt pattern, so as long as the rotors are the same pattern as the wheel, the wheel will work with 08 forks.
dave $5 and ITB for your front + rotors?

Bingo amigo. then i found a dude that had made a socket for $5.

ok next question: 06-09 top triples are the same?

ok next question: 06-09 top triples are the same?
loaded question, the answer is yes and no. each year was *slightly* diofferent, either offset, forks diameter(top and bottom), ingtion position etc.
between those years and cc's, some had slightly different offsets requiring diff axles/wheels. best fit is 04-05 600/750 (plus you can use the steering stem ignition lock, other models/years not so much)and use your SV front wheel. the ignition lock is only good if a commuter bike, but if its a track slut, go nuts on year/cc.
so do you want ignition lock to work? if so, k4/5 600/750 = work
if not k00-09 600/750/1000 can all be made to work, some with slightly more modding some bolt on.
you on any SV forums? svrider.com? socalsvriders.org? sv1000portal?
literally TONS and GOBS of info on those re: gsxr front end swaps. just dont post a new thread on ther about it without searching, they'll eat you alive (ask how i know ahahha)

Yeah i've been poring over svrider--I've decided i don't need steering lock or steering stops (my bars already hit the tank anyway), which is why i went with the 08 front end, but this front end that i've bought is missing the top clamp, so i'm looking to buy that a la carte, and 06 and 07 is way more common than 08-09.
