They can make fun of him all they want, but he knows what he is talking about. He may not have all the answers, but he is certainly right on monetary and foreign policy. People don't want to listen to him, because it would require people to act responsibly in both their personal and fiscal lives. It's much easier to ask the government to take care of you. Sadly, our government is run by the same people. Hence our mountain of deficit spending and astronomical national debt.
