Effective immediately, ONE Industries is terminating our 3 year contract with Ryan Dungey as a result of the recent events that have transpired during the last week.

"ONE Industries is an icon in the industry and when we launched our motocross apparel line we wanted to work with riders that we believed shared our ambitions and vision for the brand," says Danny Dobey, ONE Industries Brand Manager.

"Because our business is continually developing and growing in multiple directions we seek out riders and teams who want to contribute to the exciting and positive things we do, our introduction of Ryan showed the level of commitment and investment we were making in this project," adds Russ Koza, Marketing Manager of ONE Industries.

Neil Calvesbert, CEO of ONE Industries, comments, "We signed a 3 year contract with Ryan and we were looking beyond that with the brand, so nobody enjoyed making this decision. Everyone involved with ONE Industries gives 100% to the company, the teams and riders we work with and I would like to thank them for their devotion, professionalism and nobility throughout the events that took place at Anaheim."

as of TODAY

"Since 1974 Fox has earned a reputation of integrity by standing behind our commitments to our athletes and the sport of Motocross. We make Racewear that performs at the highest level.

Fox has won more races and Championships than any other Motocross brand in the World. Our record speaks for itself. If you need a race pant that fits, Fox fits. If you need a glove that works, Fox works. Our apparel has met the needs of Champions, right off the shelf, from Barnett, Bailey, Johnson, Henry, McGrath, Carmichael, Stewart, and now we are excited to say – Ryan Dungey.

Check out www.foxracing.com for the latest on Fox & Ryan Dungey."

Was it his tantrums that caused the split, or did he do something pretty public where they "had" to part ways?

Dungey came out for the 1st heat and saw Jlaw wearing the same gear, Dungey went back to his trailer and swapped out his gear and threw his One Indutry's gear out of the trailer and some fans grabbed it.. When One got word of what he did they fired him...

I guess it all depends on context.

What's more important?

Keeping a guy that disparaged your company when you are paying him to promote it under the technicality of "honoring your commitment to your athletes"?

OR

Holding to a conviction of having people you pay to promote your product reflect it in their actions?

IF Fox hadnt saved him, I dont think there is a person out there that would'nt think "He earned his dismissal".

Very True, and now when I replace my gear im sure I will NOT be buying anything FOX! Shit on my last crash, everything I had on that was made by Fox was destroyed and shredded, even my gloves, so I would say Fox Gloves DID NOT WORK! lol! damn things shredded like i was wearing nothing.

To bad for One Industries, Dungey is a good rider that can bring the #1 plate home and that would be another big score for Fox. Dungey has also show conviction in his beliefs and Ideals, he'll make three times the coin due to his clean image.
